Leather Wrist Cuffs started out as functional pieces of cowboy gear.  But, as time went on, they became more of a fashion statement.  They first featured carved and stamped designs, and later were embellished with brass and nickle spots.   The Star symbol, which was the most popular design, was said to have been carried north by Texas Cowboys where it was adopted by many saddleries.
